As a Yard & Print Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations of the yard and assisting with print shop activities as needed. You will report directly to the TC Devices Manager and work closely with the yard, printing, and operations teams to maintain smooth organization, material flow, and production efficiency.
• Organize, clean, and maintain the yard area to ensure it remains safe, efficient, and compliant with company standards.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and equipment deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring materials are properly accounted for and stored.
• Track materials, supplies, and equipment inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Support the Print Shop as needed, including preparing materials, assisting with printing, and packaging finished products.
• Assist with maintaining both yard and print shop equipment through basic cleaning and preventive upkeep.
• Help supervise yard operations and coordinate with drivers, shop staff, and field crews as needed.
• Be able to assist operations when required, including supporting field or logistics tasks.
• Safely drive company vehicles to transport signs, materials, or equipment as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold all safety and quality standards.
• Valid driver’s license for 3 years with a clean driving record required.
• Experience working in a yard, warehouse, or field operations environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical, hands-on tasks throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to assist across departments and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with a professional and reliable attitude.
• Familiarity with printing processes or production equipment is a plus (training provided).
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
This position primarily works in the yard and print shop environments, which may include exposure to weather, loud noises, printing fumes, and machinery. Depending on workload and scheduling needs, occasional overtime or weekend work may be required.
