A senior UX/UI Designer with experience working with Wireframes and Figma. The UX/UI Designer, on the Digital Experience and Innovation team, collaboratively develops and executes on the product vision for the digital connected experience for stakeholders across our medical technology portfolios. The designer will take a lead role on a critical workstream that will dramatically influence the overall experience. Job Description:

The UX/UI Designer, on the Digital Experience and Innovation team, collaboratively develops and executes on the product vision for the digital connected experience for stakeholders across our medical technology portfolios. The designer will take a lead role on a critical workstream that will dramatically influence the overall experience. We are looking for a strong design sensibility, a hunger to explore and push the envelope visually, coupled with a knack for creating fluid, intuitive interactions. A desire to work at the interface between hardware and UI touchpoints is equally important to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• UX design on a critical workstream in which you will partner with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Generate low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes, participate in user studies, create UI visual designs, and support design transfer to SW.
• Partner with the rest of the experience design team on a range of design initiatives supporting the broader Ottava ecosystem.
• Explore and conceptualize onboarding and learning strategies to improve users' end-to-end experience with the system.
• Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to a variety of internal stakeholders.
• Create production ready assets for SW implementation, communicate with software engineers to help overcome implementation challenges and support alternative solutions when needed.

Qualifications

• Design degree with minimum of 10 years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, UX architect, or similar
• High level of proficiency with digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) and others.
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience across all phases of product development. We are interested in seeing both your process and design outputs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
