We are currently seeking Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team, who will safely guide traffic through our work zones using signs and hand signals. What We Offer - Competitive union compensation packages

Main Responsibilities - Discusses traffic routing plans, and type and location of control points with superior.
- Distributes traffic control signs and markers along site in designated pattern.
- Directs movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand, and flag signals.
- Warns construction workers when approaching vehicle fails to heed signals to prevent accident and injury to workers.
- Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
- Records license number of traffic control violators.
- Gives hand marker to last driver in line up of one-way traffic for Flagger at opposite end of site, signaling clearance for reverse flow of traffic.
Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time and work outside in varying weather conditions
- Current driver’s license with good driving record
- Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one
- Travel frequently within the area for work assignments.
- County Coverage: Blackford, Delaware, Fayette, Grant, Henry, Huntington, Jay, Madison, Tipton, and Wayne
Preferred Qualifications - 1+ year traffic control experience
