ProStaff Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our client’s team as a Liquor Store Associate in Bergenfield, NJ . If interested, we would be excited to connect and discuss this opportunity in more detail.

Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: DoE
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday – 10 am – 7 pm (some Sundays)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in finding their desired products
• Provide product recommendations based on customer preferences and needs
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Check identification and enforce legal age requirements for alcohol purchases
• Receive and unload deliveries, ensuring all products are properly stored and labeled.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in retail or customer service is required.
• Experience in operating a cash register.
• Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages is an advantage.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and inventory
• Ability to lift/move cases of alcoholic beverages
• Must be 21 years of age or older, in accordance with applicable regulations for this role.
