Prep Cook – Doc's Houston
Doc's Houston is an elevated cuisine restaurant with live music, known for delivering a refined yet vibrant dining experience. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients for daily service (vegetables, proteins, sauces, dressings, etc.)
Follow recipes and directions from chefs to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
Assist with inventory, labeling, and proper storage of ingredients
Support line cooks and chefs during service as needed
Follow all food safety and HACCP guidelines
Qualifications:
Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, but willing to train motivated individual
Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
