Duties include, but are not limited to planning menus with nutrition information, supervise cooks, order food and supplies, maintain inventory, operate commercial kitchen equipment and appliances. Responsible for following the nutrition guidelines associated with the Nebraska Nutrition Services lunch program and training requirements. Occasionally preparation of foods baking, and serving of a variety of foods in quantity.
Qualifications: Associate’s degree or equivalent educational experience, with academic major in specific areas with 1 year of relevant food service experience or High school diploma (or GED) and at least 3 years of institutional food service experience.
