💰 Salary: $135,000+ (based on experience)

SUPERIOR SKILLED TRADES is partnered with a respected engineering firm seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in an MEP engineering consulting environment , designing complex HVAC systems for commercial, healthcare, and industrial buildings . This is a direct-hire opportunity offering flexibility, competitive compensation, and long-term stability.
Design complex HVAC systems within an MEP consulting setting
Design and oversee construction of hydronic systems (chilled water, hot water, and steam)
Utilize Trace 700 for cooling load calculations and energy modeling (preferred)
Prepare and coordinate drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Meet with clients on-site and participate in project meetings
Conduct site inspections and support construction administration
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
5+ years of HVAC design experience in an MEP engineering office
Experience designing complex HVAC systems for commercial buildings
Strong knowledge of hydronic system design and construction (chilled, hot, and steam)
Proficiency with Trace 700, AutoCAD, and Revit
Willingness to meet with clients on-site and perform site inspections
Minimal overnight travel
Healthcare or hospital project experience
Experience using Trace 700 for energy modeling
