Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Book for immediate consideration: Job Description As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be a crucial member of the clinical team, providing safe, evidence-based care to patients. Your role will involve exceptional support and the ability to anticipate the needs of clinicians and patients. Responsibilities + Monitor, document, and communicate patients' vital statistics and measurements. + Observe and note any physical or emotional changes in patients. + Prepare examination rooms for patient visits. + Select, prepare, and manage medical supplies and equipment. + Ensure the patient environment is comfortable, organized, safe, and hygienic. + Maintain accurate records of patient information. + Prepare patients for follow-up care post-treatment. + Potentially guide and educate other LPNs. + Serve as a knowledgeable resource on nursing-related issues. + Organize and manage scheduling for patients and necessary medical tests. Essential Skills + Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, multi-specialty medical settings. + LPN License in the state of NY. + Attendance and reliability. + Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). + 1-2 years of medical office experience. + Experience with patient demographics and patient information management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2+ years of LPN experience is a plus. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, at the Internal Medicine department located in Poughkeepsie, 243 N. Road. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
