Northwest Partners is supporting a major initiative with a top-tier organization in the insurance space and is looking for an experienced IT manager to contribute to the success of this work. This role oversees application services and manages both strategy and delivery of key IT initiatives in partnership with business and technology teams.
What YOU will do
Manage resource allocation for support, maintenance, and projects across application portfolios
Recruit, coach, and develop team members, setting and managing staff goals
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver IT solutions aligned with business needs
Lead the execution of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives
Oversee the software development lifecycle, promoting continuous improvement
Support IT budget planning and forecasting for initiatives within scope
Use defined project management processes to deliver projects on time and within scope
Communicate project and portfolio status updates to stakeholders
Create and manage schedules, estimates, and timelines for deliverables
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues, adjusting plans as needed
Prioritize incoming work and collaborate with senior management to resolve challenges
What YOU will bring us
Bachelor s degree or higher in information technology or related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development leadership or supervisory roles
Strong experience managing teams, including performance, career development, and coaching
Proven ability to manage third-party contractors and vendor relationships
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience aligning IT strategy with organizational goals
Ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage enterprise-wide initiatives
