Job Description

Job Title: Filtration Production Operator
Location: Piscataway, New Jersey

Type: Contract
Compensation: $21 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 3rd Shift- 10PM to 6:30AM

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate one or more pieces of filtration equipment across the Dispensing Department according to manufacturing instructions.
• Follow all manufacturing instructions to filtrate liquid flavors using various filtration methods per direction of the batch record.
• Gather, inspect, and verify the necessary equipment needed to filtrate according to schedules and to production standards.
• Follow all personal and product safety procedures compliant with the company’s standards.
• Possess and apply working knowledge of filter housing, pumps, mixers, scales, and fork trucks.
• Log and record all dispensing information in Batch Metrics and utilize Oracle EBS system for inventory control and transfer.
• Adhere to schedules provided by supervision with respect to training, scheduled cleaning, and routine inspections.
• Actively participate in Food Safety Quality Observation Program.
• Comply with good manufacturing practices and the company’s SOP’s ensuring compliance to SQF and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year(s) f orklift experience.
• 1+ year(s) of food packaging experience or related industry.
• 1+ year(s) of operating manufacturing machines/equipment experience or related industry.
• 1+ year(s) of liquid packaging experience. ( Preferred)
• Ability to perform fundamental math skills (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), and the ability to do conversions (lbs. to kgs and lbs. to gals).
• Demonstrate ability to read documents written in Standard English text.
